Upgrade Hardware Intel to AMD in Windows

  1. Go to Device Manager
  2. Expand “IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers”
  3. if you have like “Standard AHCI 1.0 Serial ATA Controller” or “Standard Dual Channel PCI IDE Controller” then just upgrade your hardware, it should be fine, if not go to step 4
  4. right click non standard controller chos Properties > Driver > Update Driver
    not the “ATA Channel 0, ” Primary IDE Channel”
  5. choose “Browse your computer > Let Me Pick” and select default “Standard” driver :
    1. SATA : Stamdard AHCI 1.0 Serial ATA Controller
    2. IDE : Standard Dual Channel PCI IDE Controller
  6. OK. dont reboot, just shutdown and upgrade the hardware.
